Mining Cable

The Mining Cable is engineered for power transmission, control and signal communication in underground coal mines, metal and non-metal mines, and tunnel engineering projects. All mining cables are flame-retardant and must obtain the Mining Product Safety Certificate (MA certification) issued by the Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification Center. The cable complies with GB/T 12972-2008《Mine Rubber Sheathed Flexible Cables》and MT818-2009《Flame Retardant Cables for Coal Mines》. It also meets the latest national safety standard GB 43069-2023《Safety Requirements for Mining Cables》which took effect on April 1, 2025. The cable is applicable for rated voltage U0/U up to 8.7/10 kV.

The mining cable family includes a wide range of series:

• Power Cables (MY/MYP Series): Mobile rubber sheathed cables and shielded rubber sheathed cables for power connection of underground mining equipment such as shearers and roadheaders. Rated voltages include 0.38/0.66 kV and 0.66/1.14 kV.

• Control Cables (MKVV Series): PVC insulated and sheathed control cables for control monitoring circuits, protection circuits and instrument connections up to 450/750 V. Available in shielded and armoured versions.

• Communication Cables (MHYV Series): PE insulated signal cables for general signal transmission in mines.

The cable features oxygen-free copper conductors, semi-conductive shielding layers, and rugged rubber sheaths. The conductor's maximum continuous operating temperature is 90°C, with a minimum ambient working temperature of -35°C. The minimum bending radius is 6 times the cable diameter.
